George Clooney Ready To Get Married

According to sources close to the famous actor, George Clooney is officially one step closer to finally tying the knot. Clooney, who has been considered for years to be Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor, is getting ready to marry his fiancée Amal Alamuddin.

The two have recently secured their marriage license and they are currently in the middle of planning a wedding in Italy.

They were seen in London, which is where Alamuddin is based, getting the license and announcing that they have chosen the wedding location in Italy. Amal Alamuddin stopped to talk to press for a short period outside of the town hall were the license was obtained, but Clooney was not with her. Clooney did not have to be there to get the license, since he is an American citizen.

The two have been engaged for some time now and they have been seen hunting for new homes in a variety of locations around the world. Most recently, they were seen spending a lot of time together at Clooney’s villa in Lake Como. The couple were spotted having dinner with Clooney’s parents there recently.

There have also been sightings of both of their moms having fun together. The mothers took a trip to Italy together and were seen having a lot of fun while shopping at expensive boutiques. Clooney proposed to Amal Alamuddin in April and they have been planning the wedding ever since. According to sources close to the couple, they are also looking to buy property together in London, and most likely in France and Italy as well.

Clooney has long been known as the ultimate bachelor, a successful, Oscar award winning actor who enjoyed the single life to the fullest. Amal Alamuddin is just as successful in her own right, as a lawyer, activist and author.

When asked about the engagement and marriage Clooney said that by marrying Alamuddin, he was “marrying up.” The question is, now that Clooney is taken, who is next in line to be considered the most eligible bachelor in the world?

Even though the location is known to be Italy, there is still no official date on when the wedding will take place.
