Fordham University Takes Back Cosby’s Doctorate
People spend years graduating, a few more years doing their post-graduate studies and then they spend even more years writing their dissertation and taking care of all the other things needed for them to finally become doctors. And then, they hear about a random celebrity getting an honorary doctorate as if it was nothing.
It’s just dumb.
Well, one of those honorary “doctors” is getting their doctorate taken back and the celebrity in question is, of course, Bill Cosby. Spelman College already cut ties with Bill Cosby a few months ago, and now, Fordham University is doing the same.
In the light of new depositions, the University board unanimously decided to take back Cosby’s doctorate. We are only hoping this is not the worst punishment Cosby incurs for his decades-long career in rape.
