Dustin Diamond, who was arrested on Friday following a bar fight, was released from jail after having posted bail.
He was charged with felony second-degree reckless endangerment, carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct. The bail was set at $10,000.
After his release from prison, Diamond said that he doesn’t hold any grudge against the police officers involved in his arrest, who, as he said, were “nothing but exemplary.” He also said he didn’t think he was wronged and that the process will show that he was acting in self-defense.
Diamond was arrested after he stabbed a man with his pocketknife during a bar fight in Wisconsin. According to him, several men were bothering his fiancée, allegedly punching her in the face and holding her down. He tried to defend her and that is when he stabbed one of the men.
He also said that in Wisconsin there is nothing strange about carrying a pocketknife and that many people have one with them at all times.
