Actor Daniel Radcliffe has allegedly proposed to his girlfriend of two years. The Harry Potter 24-year old star and his partner Erin Darke decided to keep the happy news secret until they picked an engagement ring. They hope to pick one during an upcoming trip to Paris, France.
One source told Star magazine, “They’re trying to keep it low-key, because he’s very private, but they’re both bursting with excitement. It’s the happiest we’ve seen him in years.”
According to the publication, the happy couple is planning to tie the knot in 2015. They wedding ceremony is planned to be outdoors near Lake Michigan, where Darke’s family lives.
Daniel Radcliffe has revealed he hasn’t spoken to his ‘Harry Potter’ co-star Emma Watson in ‘quite a while’ and admitted he’s more interested in meeting ‘new people now’.
The 24-year-old actor confessed that after spending ten years together filming the Harry Potter sequeals, he now enjoys the company of other people.
He told US OK! Magazine, “I haven’t spoken to her in quite a while. I’m sure we’ll see each other at some point.” “We were all together for 10 years, so we’re excited to meet new people now.”

“I still sign ‘Harry Potter’ books, and I still meet people who are huge fans of the books and the films,” the star said.
“I don’t want that to drop off, really. But I think people are starting to see me as an actor who came out of that series rather than just Harry Potter.”
