Cowell Ashamed Of Affair With Silverman
Music mogul Simon Cowell seems to regret having an affair with Lauren Silverman, the mother of his child, because of the pain it caused eventually.
Lauren fell pregnant during the affair with Cowell in 2013, after an on and off relationship and all the scandals in the media as Silverman was married to his friend, Andrew Silverman, at the time of their affair.
The two finally became a couple after Silverman’s divorce and they soon welcomed their son Eric in February 2014. Simon is now very proud of his child, but he admits he could’ve behaved differently.
He told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “I regret that part. But then of course you have a baby and you kind of go ‘This is what happened from it‘.”
“In this situation you are not going to come out of this well because of the circumstances. It’s not something I am proud of or wanted to happen in terms of hurting anyone.”

“It just happened. You have to deal with it and man up to it. You have to accept the responsibility and the criticism. All I can say is, my advice to you is if it happens to you, you just have to deal with it a day at a time and own up to your responsibilities.”
And he’s Simon, in short: in 2004 and 2010, American magazine Time named Cowell one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
In 2010, British New Statesman magazine listed Cowell at number 41 in a list of “The World’s 50 Most Influential Figures 2010.”
TV Guide named him #10 in their 2013 list of The 60 Nastiest Villains of All Time.
