Charlize Theron Dumps Fiancée Sean Penn
Following their appearance at the Cannes Film Festival where they seemed incredibly in love with each other (we all remember their public displays of affection on the red carpet!), the famous couple broke things off after a year and a half of dating. Apparently, Theron was the one to end the relationship because Penn was too serious and too intense for her. The beautiful actress is full of energy and needs someone to keep up with her.
The couple met a few decades ago, but they did not become a couple until December 2013. A year later they got engaged, and seemed to be one of the happiest couples in Hollywood. They were constantly gushing and showing how lucky they were to have found each other. Penn even filed papers to adopt Theron’s three-year-old son. Now, after the break up, the two have decided to stay friends, which is always a good thing to hear.
