Brittany Murphy’s Movie “Something Wicked” To Be Released

Four years have passed since the death of Brittany Murphy and her final film titled Something Wicked finally received a release date. Brittany died in 2009 and her final project is scheduled for April 4th. The movie will be premiered at the Regal Theater in Eugene, Oregon, since it was filmed there.
The movie’s described as a “hauntingly seductive thriller about obsession and young love gone wrong” features Shantel VanSanten from One Tree Hill and Lords of Dogtown actor John Robbinson, along with Murphy.
Back in 2011, speaking of Murphy’s final role, producer Joe Colleran told USA Today, “Brittany pulled off one of the spookiest scenes in the movie.
There’s an important scene where her character is unravelling and she spent a long time getting ready and focused and went for it. Personally, I think it’s one of the best scenes of her career.”
The Clueless star died almost five years ago at the age of 32, from pneumonia, anaemia and extreme use of prescription drugs. She has appeared in several notable movies, including 8 Mile, Girl Interrupted and Clueless.
