Brad Pitt starred in two WWII-themed movies in the last few years: Fury and Inglorious Basterds. As a result of this, Brad became a real bona fide collector of all things that have to do with WWII.
The most recent addition to his collection is a German army double-seater bike that he found in Athens, Greece and that was used by German patrols on the island of Crete during the war.
The bike is in perfect shape, although the decals have been removed. It is also one of the rarest WWII bikes in the world, with fewer than 500 still in existence. Of course, this influenced the price and it is reported that Brad paid $385,000 for the bike. It’s good to have money.
