Cosby, or whoever is running his Twitter account, posted a link on Monday, November 10 to a meme generator on the comedian’s website.
It allowed users to caption pictures of Cosby using the familiar white-block text font.
A hashtag, #CosbyMeme, and lots of pretty bad posts about rape and sexual assault allegations against Cosby resulted. The initial tweet was deleted and the meme generator cannot be found on his website.
The captions refer to accusations against the 77-year old comedian that have circulated over the last decade. Furthermore, on October 21 stand-up comedian Hannibal Buress called him rapist onstage.
“‘I don’t curse on stage.’ But yeah, you’re a rapist, so…”
A week after that, former actress and model Barbara Bowman said she was drugged and raped by Cosby when she was only 17.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Bowman remembered the incident.
“I thank Hannibal Burress [sic] for speaking out over and over again. … He is standing up for me and the other women who are too afraid to speak out.”
