Pop star Justin Bieber allegedly didn’t have such a great time when he received a frosty reception from sports fans. Reportedly, he was booed during a basketball game in Los Angeles on Sunday, May 11.
The troubled pop star has treated his mother Pattie Mallette to courtside seats for the Los Angeles Clippers game against Oklahoma City Thunder at the Staples Center. It was on the day when America celebrates Mother’s Day.
Mother and her son were spotted taking many selfies on their phones. However, when Bieber was caught on the big screen at arena’s main camera, the crowd wasn’t as pleased to see him as he might have expected. There was a chorus of boos erupted around the venue.
One source told E! News, “The entire placed booed him when Staples Center cameras put him on the jumbotron (large screen).”
When the star later shared the picture with his fans, Bieber wrote on his Twitter.com, “My mom has taught me how to love, forgive and believe. She is my everything.”
However, the star refused to let is spoil his fun and laughed and joked around with his mom as they continued to take selfies.
The pop star, who was also accompanied by his manager Scooter Braun, also posted plenty of messages on Twitter about how much he appreciates his mother.
“Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing mom,” the singer tweeted over an old photo he added to his Twitter.com account.
