Beyoncé Tops Forbes Celebrity Power List

The Celebrity Power List counts the overall number of mentions a celebrity gets in print, TV and radio, as well as social media across 11 platforms, including Twitter, Facebook and Youtube.
This year, pop superstar Beyoncé, who earned an estimated $115 million (£67.4 million), was joined by her husband, rapper Jay Z, who made $60 million (£35.1 million).
They also topped the magazine’s poll of the highest-earning celeb couple. They are currently touring the US together.
Second place is occupied by basketball player LeBron James, and the highest earner of the year 2014 is Dr. Dre, who made astonishing $620 million (£363 million), comes third.
Dre’s wealth has significantly increased thanks to his Beats Electronics company he started in 2008. In April, it was bought by Apple for an estimated $3 billion (£1.8 billion).
Forbes has been making the Celebrity 100 list for 15 years. In 2014, 13 of the top 25 people are musician such as Rihanna, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus.
