Patrick Stewart is an acclaimed English actor, best known for his iconic portrayal of Captain Jean-Luc Picard on “Star Trek: The Next Generation.” His other notable roles include Professor Charles Xavier in the “X-Men” movie series, many stage roles as a member of the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company as well as notable voice acting roles.
Before meeting his current wife Suzy Ozell, who is 37 years younger than him, Stewart was married twice. His first marriage to Sheila Falconer ended in 1990 after 24 years of marriage. His second marriage to Wendy Neuss lasted three years and ended in 2003.
Five years later, Stewart found bliss with a Brooklyn jazz singer-songwriter Suzy Ozell, whom he met while doing Macbeth at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Four years later Stewart purchased a home for himself and Ozell in Park Slope. One year later they were engaged and in September 2013 they tied the knot in a ceremony officiated by Stewart’s “X-Men” co-star Ian McKellen.
