2. Larry King and Shawn King
As you’re probably well aware, Larry King is a famous TV and radio personality. From 1985 to 2010, King hosted ‘’Larry King Live’’ on CNN. He currently hosts the TV show ‘’Larry King Now.’’
Interestingly enough, King has been married eight times, to seven women. He married his seventh wife Shawn in 1997 in a hospital room in Los Angeles. The wedding took place three days before Larry had to undergo surgery.
The age gap between the two is 26 years.
Apparently, King doesn’t seem to be bothered by the fact that his wife is over two decades younger. In 2010, at the Rock for the Cure gala, King joked about their age difference.
“I know what you’re thinking. When people look at Shawn and me, the first thing they notice is the age difference. But I’m here to say, if she dies, she dies.’’
The couple separated in 2010 for a brief time. Namely, King had an affair with Shawn’s younger sister Shannon. Although they filed for divorce, the couple didn’t go through with it. Instead, they went to see a marriage counsellor.
In an interview, Larry explained: “We went through a rough patch. You get through it. It was rough for a while, but we ironed it out pretty well. There was a big difference in our ages, that might have had something to do with it … and we let the negatives take hold for a while. But I’m not an expert on marriage.”

Shawn agreed with her husband.
“As time passed, we got to know each other. In some ways, we’re polar opposites. But we also had a lot in common. I’d be lying if I said the age difference didn’t come up. Larry is almost thirty years older than I am.”
Larry and Shawn have two children, Chance Armstrong and Cannon Edward.
