Morgan Freeman been nominated for an Academy Award for his performances in ‘’Street Smart’’, ‘’Driving Miss Daisy’’, ‘’The Shawshank Redemption’’ and ‘’Invictus.’’
The renowned American actor won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in ‘’Million Dollar Baby.’’ Additionally, he won a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Freeman has appeared in numerous films, including ‘’Unforgiven’’, ‘’Glory’’, ‘’Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves’’, ‘’Seven’’, ‘’Deep Impact’’, ‘’The Sum of All Fears’’, ‘’Bruce Almighty’’, ‘’Along Came a Spider’’ and ‘’The Dark Knight’’ film trilogy.
Freeman was married twice. During the past few years, rumours have circulated that the Oscar winning actor is dating his step granddaughter E’Dena Hines. Although they are not related by blood, the news of their affair has caused much scandal.
Freeman said that the rumours about their relationship were completely absurd. There were even reports about a marriage that was to take place.
“The recent reports of any pending marriage or romantic relationship of me to anyone are defamatory fabrications from the tabloid media designed to sell papers. What is even more alarming is that these fabrications are now being picked up by the legitimate press as well,” Freeman said.
“These stories about me and my grandfather are not only untrue, they are also hurtful to me and my family,” Hines said.
Whatever the case may be, the public is puzzled as to why the two remained silent for so many years about the nature of their relationship. The age difference between Freeman and Hines is 47 years!
