Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul is really upset about Breaking Bad action figures being pulled from all Toys r Us stores. He turned to Twitter to express himself on the topics, tweeting “Wait, so @ToysRUs pulled out all of the Breaking Bad action figures from their shelves and still sells Barbie? Hmm… I wonder what is more damaging?”
He might have a good point. The popular toy store pulled the figurines from their shelves after parents caused a stir all over the country, saying that selling action figures based on a show in which the main stars run a meth lab goes against the family values that Toys r Us should be promoting. The toys were created to look like Paul’s character Jessie and Bryan Cranston’s Walter White, each of them having a bag of meth and some cash on them as well.
Cranston isn’t happy with the move either, and this is the message he released:
“Toys R Us puts the Breaking Bad toys on an ‘indefinite sabbatical.’ Word on the street is that they were sent to Belize. Nicely played Florida Mom.”
