Rejoice Ladies, Johnny Depp Is Single Once Again

Well, that escalated quickly. After only 15 months of marriage, Hollywood celebrities Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are calling it quits.
According to sources, the proceedings are well underway. Heard filed for divorce on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences. And if you saw Depp on Jimmy Kimmel’s show on Monday, you probably couldn’t tell that he was going through a divorce. He looked quite happy, as a matter of fact.
The couple met five years ago on the set of the movie ”The Rum Diaries.” They were married in February 2015 in Los Angeles, where they had a small, private celebration before throwing a bigger wedding bash on the Bahama island that Depp owns.
Depp and Heard were in the news recently in a pretty bizarre way. They were accused of illegally bringing their tiny dogs to Australia last year when Depp was filming the latest ”Pirates of the Carribean” movie.
Could that court battle have been the final straw in the relationship? Or maybe it’s the fact that Depp is 22 years her senior. Maybe we’ll find out one day when one of them releases a tell-all book.
