Kesha Breaks Silence, Thanks Supporters

Kesha has been very quiet regarding her legal battle with her producer Dr. Luke. But she finally broke her silence on Tuesday via her official Instagram account.
While she obviously isn’t going to say anything that’s going to jeopardize her case, she did take the time to thank all of the people that have shown support for her over the last week. She said that she cried a lot reading all of the support.
One of the most notorious celebrities who showed support is fellow pop icon Taylor Swift, who donated $250,000 to Kesha to help with her legal bills and financial situation in general.
As it currently stands, Kesha is not allowed to get out of her contract with Dr. Luke and therefore cannot record or release any new music unless it’s with him.
The producer has been accused by Kesha of emotional and sexual abuse. Dr. Luke reiterated his stance on Twitter on Monday that he did not rape Kesha, as was being alleged, and that he never had sex with the singer.
