Lamar Odom Recovering Slowly, Will Be Transferred To L.A. Hospital

Former NBA star Lamar Odom is recovering slowly after falling into a coma last week in a Nevada brothel from an apparent overdose. Doctors treating him in Las Vegas say that he can move his arms and legs but still can’t stand on his own.
He has apparently passed the very important swallowing test, is breathing well on his own, but is still on dialysis due to kidney failure. He is expected to be transferred to a hospital in Los Angeles soon, where he will continue what is sure to be a very long and difficult rehabilitation process.
His ex-wife, reality star Khloe Kardashian has been caring for Odom ever since the incident. She has been with him since he arrived to the Las Vegas hospital and will continue to be by his side as he starts his long rehabilitation process. Special measures need to be taken to transfer Odom by helicopter to Los Angeles, since he cannot fit into a regular side helicopter because of his height.
