Suge Knight’s Bail To Be Set At $25M

Marion “Suge” Knight was charged with murder, attempted murder and a hit-and-run in February in Compton, California. He has been held without bail since.
On Thursday a Los Angeles prosecutor fild a motion asking a judge to set Knight’s bail at $25 million. The prosecutor cited numerous acts of violence Knight has committed form the mid-90s to this day. The motion also accuses Knight of illegal activities that includes extortion targeting up-and-coming and already famous rappers and claims that he received over $10 million of extortion money in recent years.
Knight pleaded not guilty to the murder charges and his lawyers said that he was ambushed. If he attempts to post bail he must first prove that the money has not been illegally obtained.
