Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello, who have been dating since the summer, are officially engaged. The actor popped the question on Christmas day in Hawaii, where the couple were celebrating his birthday and the holidays with their families. He said that he wanted to propose to her in front of their families, who mean so much to both of them.
The Modern Family star, who is 42-years old, has a 22-year old son Manolo from her previous marriage to Joe Gonzales, who she divorced in 1993. She was in a relationship, albeit an on-again-off-again, with businessman Nick Loeb back in 2010. Following the news about the engagement of his ex, Loeb said that he is very happy for her, because she is a majestic woman who deserves all the happiness in the world.
According to sources close to the couple, they are crazy for each other and Sofia was beaming as she stared at the giant engagement ring on her hand.
