It was reported earlier that a top Hollywood lawyer would be suing Internet giant Google and other companies for helping to leak and distribute nude photos of big name celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton.
A recent statement from J-Law herself seems to confirm that there are going to be some legal actions taken against everyone who is thought to be responsible for the massive breach of privacy.
Commenting on the scandal publicly for the first time, Lawrence said that the incident is disgusting and said that laws need to be changed in order to protect the privacy of everyone, celebrities included.
She added that it’s frightening to know that people are looking to make money out of the unwilling sexual exploitation of others and said that anyone looking at the photos should also be ashamed of perpetuating sexual offenses.
The 24 year old actress went so far as to call the entire scandal a sex crime, adding that it should be her choice to decide whether or not she wants to share her private photos with the world.
