Martha Stewart Tells Gwyneth Paltrow To Shut Up And Stick To Acting

In a recent interview with Net-a-Porter’s Porter magazine, Martha Stewart criticized fellow lifestyle guru and actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
The Oscar-winning actress has been promoting herself as a lifestyle guru for years now, and it seems the queen of celebrity lifestyle guru-ing isn’t impressed with Paltrow’s work.
Martha said that Gwyneth should shut up and continue working as an actress.
She just needs to be quiet. She’s a movie star. If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn’t be trying to be Martha Stewart.
Paltrow’s online brand Goop is blooming, and according to Michael Sebastian, reporter for Advertising Age, Marta needs to get rid of her competition in order to keep her guru crown.
It’s interesting timing to hear from Martha right now because her company has had its head down for the last nine months. She needs to make sure that she can get rid of, or at least squash some of the competition in the digital space because that’s where the growth is.
