Lovato was named Grand Marshall for the LA Pride parade, in charge of entertaining half a million people.
The star did not disappoint the crowd as she danced and sang on a float while she was pulled through the streets of Hollywood on Sunday, June 8.
The 21-year old seemed to be inspired by eighties glam punk and probably Michael Jackson, as she rocked a side shave and a black leather blazer trimmed with heavy straps.
The singer encrusted her look with a pair of studded tight black trousers and a white dress shirt with a classy black tie.
About 400,000 participants watched he on Sunday afternoon.
She had a sign that read, ‘Really Don’t Care‘. A half a dozen dancers dressed in gold, pink and black bodysuits were entertaining them.
A true professional, she gave an amazing performance with revelers dancing in the streets.
She will head to New York at the end of the month to headline NYC Pride’s Dance on the Pier in Tribeca on June 29, just one day after the 45th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots of 1969, that sparked the gay pride movement.
“I have been an active advocate of the LGBT community and am wholly committed to supporting individuality and being comfortable in one’s own skin.”
“I am thrilled to be a part of both events as they are a wonderful celebration of independence and self-confidence,” the star said in a statement.
