Police in Los Angeles are currently on the hunt for two burglars who allegedly stole a band new Maserati, as well as jewelry from singer Miley Cyrus’ home in California.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s North Hollywood station answered a reported burglary after the singer’s assistant doubted there were some items missing from her home during the weekend, May 31-June 1.
A representative for the LAPD told the Associated Press that a couple, a man and a woman, are believed to have jumped over the fence and broken into her home and garage on Friday, May 30.
Singer’s new 2014 Maserati luxury sedan was missing. Furthermore, they have allegedly stolen an unspecified amount of jewelry from the property. Now the authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to call them and help the investigation.
Miley, who is currently in Europe for her Bangerz world tour, was a victim to burglars in December 2013, when thousands of dollars of possessions were missing.
Seven months later, she has $100,000 worth of purses and jewelry stolen from the same Studio City mansion last year.
She has been working with police after her assistant found personal items had been moved at the property over the weekend.
According to TMZ.com, singer’s assistant came home and noticed some of the star’s belongings weren’t in the same place, and immediately called the police.
