Actor Alec Baldwin was arrested in New York on Tuesday morning, May 13, after police saw him riding a bike the wrong way down the city’s Fifth Avenue.
Famous actor was handcuffed and bundled into a police car. However, his representative has dismissed reports suggesting the actor was arrested and charged.
The spokesman told In Touch magazine, “He was not arrested or charged with a crime. He has been released.”
A police source also revealed the actor was given two summonses for riding the wrong way and disorderly conduct.
In November 2013, Baldwin made international headlines after chasing a photographer outside his Manhattan apartment and using an anti-gay slur toward the man, according to TMZ.
“Get away from my wife and the baby with the camera,” said Baldwin, who could be heard yelling on video taken of the incident.

Baldwin later released a statement on MSNBC’s website saying, “I did not intend to hurt or offend anyone with my choice of words, but clearly I have — and for that I am deeply sorry. Words are important. I understand that, and will choose mine with great care going forward.”
And in August 2013, Baldwin was photographed holding a photographer’s arms behind his back and forcefully pinning him over the hood of a parked car. Baldwin and the photographer called 911, but no charges were filed.
