Pop icon Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, is recovering after she underwent a dental surgery on Thursday, April 17.
The star has a planned art RAVE: The ARTPOP Ball tour kick off scheduled for May 4. It should start in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Before the road trip, she took the time to have her wisdom tooth pulled.
She informed the world by posting to her Twitter.com line, “Wisdom teeth out. P-p-Percocet p-p-Percocet (pain reliever).”
She also posted a photo while sitting in a bed hugging a stuffed monkey, which she captioned, “Chipmunk Cheeks. Wisdom Teeth out before tour. I can’t eat. I’m gonna put some meatballs in a blender.”
Gaga has also a song titled Teeth. She wrote the song during her trip to China in 2009. Following her trip, Gaga was also seen with vampire fangs for a couple of days. She explained in the “Book of Gaga” that the “vamp teeth represent [her] transformation as artist.”
Gaga’s management reached to producer Teddy Riley in 2009, to ask if he was interested to work with the icon. In September 2009, Gaga shared the concept of the song with the title “Show Me Your Teeth.”
The song was recorded in Los Angeles on September 29 in 2009, and the mixing was done in North Hollywood.
It is Gaga’s first song to feature a female background vocal other than herself.
“Teeth” also includes a sample by Pete Wyoming.
