2. Michael Emerson And Carrie Preston

Michael Emerson, aka the creepy guy from LOST, goes home every night to the lovely Carrie Preston of True Blood fame.

According to trivia section on IMDB website, in 1995, he graduated from the prestigious Professional Actor Training M.F.A program backed by the Alabama Shakespeare Festival and The University of Alabama Department of Theater and Dance. At the moment, he was 40, which made him approximately 15 years older than average theater graduate.

He met his wife, Carrie Preston, in the 1990s, when they both appeared in “Hamlet” at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Carrie played “Ophelia” and Emerson played “Guildenstern” in the stage production.

“Within a month I was calling my mom saying, ‘I met the man I’m going to marry,'” she told People magazine.

Preston was born and raised in Macon, Georgia, by a mother who was an artist and art therapist, and a geo-technical engineer father. While still very young she discovered she wanted to become a performing actor.

When she was 12, she became the impresario of her own front-yard DIY theater company. She was a producer, writer, casting director, costumer and actress. She also obtained a BFA from the University of Evansville together with an acting diploma form Julliard School.

She had a recurring role alongside her now-husband Michael Emerson on the TV show Person of Interest (2011) where they played lovers.

They also appear together in the movie Straight-Jacket (2004).

Now the couple travel back and forth between Los Angeles and New York with their adopted dog Chumley.
