Famous singer was diagnosed with lupus, but the disease is in its early stages so the prognosis is looking good so far. Synovitis, a disease similar to lupus is the one that got her; she had to cancel a part of her tour because of it.
According to Lady Gaga herself, lupus runs in her family and she was not particularly surprised when the doctors told her that she developed the condition. She has also gone on record saying how her new, healthier lifestyle will hopefully help her control the disease.
Among other things, lupus has been known to affect the joints and make it very difficult for a person to move or even walk without assistance. Best of luck Gaga; we need you to continue performing.
