Do you guys remember when Jon played Gutter in the underground 90s classic “PCU” along with David Spade, Jeremy Piven and others? In that movie, he played a punk rock obsessed, dred-locked nice guy who was as sweet as he was ominous looking.
That’s still how some of us who have seen the movie imagine the guy, even though he ended up making huge big budget movies and drifting away from acting. In just about every movie he has been in, even when he was a recurring character in Friends, he seems to be a very nice guy.
And it’s probably true. He seems like someone that hasn’t been spoiled by success. Everyone loves that one coworker who has gotten tons of promotions but is still all about getting a beer at the end of his day with his friends. We think that Jon is exactly that kind of dude.
