6. Seth Rogen
A frequent collaborator with Hill, the actor and writer dropped 40 pounds as well through eating healthier and working with a personal trainer daily.
Seth Rogen was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on April 15, 1982. He wanted to be a comedian from an early age: “As soon as I realized you could be funny as a job, that was the job I wanted”
During his teenage years, he would perform stand-up comedy routines at places like bar mitzvahs and small parties, later shifting to bars. This is the time when he and his childhood friend Evan Goldberg wrote the first rough draft of Superbad.
They perfected the script while in high school, and young Seth kept getting awards for his stand-up routine.
Soon he landed a role on Judd Apatow’s television show Freaks and Geeks after attending a local casting call. Apatow liked his performances so much that he asked him to continue working for him.
Rogen and his family relocated to Los Angeles, where he worked with Apatow on Freaks and Geeks, but because the show was cancelled after only one season, he started focusing on writing more.
After several small roles, his big break came when Universal Studios greenlit him for the lead in yet another Apatow production: Knocked Up.
Seth Rogen’s upcoming movie is the Neighbors with Rose Byrne and Zac Efron directed by Nicholas Stoller.
