Although perhaps most well known as the inimitable Jean Luc Picard on Startrek: The Next Generation, Patrick had already enjoyed a long and distinguished career both on stage and on screen – which is probably how he managed to reach an incredible 75 years without anybody seeming to notice.
In case you didn’t know, Stewart is a highly acclaimed Shakespearean actor and member of the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company. In 2010, he was knighted by the Queen Elizabeth II. But he’s absolutely awesome even without all that amazing stuff, mostly thanks to his legendary captain Jean Luc Picard.
There is something in Sir Patrick Stewart that makes him defy age. He’s 75 but he might as well be 50. Maybe it’s because he’s been one of the classiest actors around for so long, or because the wider audiences got to know him when he was already past his youth.
