Perhaps it’s his Spanish ancestry which has made “Old Father Time” so kind to Mario. Maybe it’s the Mediterranean diet packed with olive oil and tomatoes. Whatever it is, Mario is now over 40. Wow.
The “older” crowd probably remembers Mario as A.C. Slater from Saved by the Bell, which aired from 1989 to 1993. He was only 16 when the show started, but looking at him now, in his forties, we can still see a lot of A.C. in him. Younger audiences are more familiar with Mario from television shows like The X Factor, where he was a host for two seasons, and as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.
If you still think of Lopez as A.C. Slater, then you probably have a pretty good idea about his age. Still, his looks today don’t really match his age. He still has his boyish charm, a wide smile and a warm, friendly gaze.
