Kate knows a thing or two about how big really is beautiful.
Told she was too fat to be a model, she starved herself for success, only to find that success as a plus sized model after piling on the pounds again.
She recalls that period of her life and warns about the dangers in recent interview she gave to Vogue: “When I was skinny, I was really self-conscious. I felt so fat all the time.”
She’s certainly not fat and definitely smoking.
Kate Dillon was born to Tom Dillon, a scientist, and Carol Dillon, a school teacher, in Washington D.C. in March 2, 1974.
She was discovered by a San Diego photographer at 16 while sitting in a cafe and modeled in Los Angeles while finishing high school.
One her biggest achievmensts and the award that launched her career was the third place in the 1991 Elite Look of the Year.
Kate is also an avid athlete who has completed triathlons and enjoys yoga, hiking and bike riding.
