1. Elin Nordegren
After being awarded $100 million in her divorce from Tiger Woods, the 33-year-old former model dated a billionaire’s son and another pro athlete before settling into a relationship with a 55 year-old billionaire coal executive.
Nordegren was born in Stockholm, Sweden and her mother, Barbro Holmberg, is a politician and the former Swedish migration and asylum policy minister who currently serves as the Governor of Gävleborg County.
Her father, Thomas Nordegren, is a radio journalist who served as a bureau chief in Washington.
She was working in a Stockholm clothing store called Champagne when she met Mia Parnevik, wife of Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik, who hired Nordegren as the nanny to their children.
This job required her to leave Sweden and move to the United States where she was introduced to another golfer during the 2001 Open Championship.
As you probably guessed the name of that golfer is Tiger Woods.
Mia Parnevik who introduced her to Tiger had this to say about the whole affair: , “I’m kind of filled with sorrow for Elin since me and my wife are at fault for hooking her up with him, and we probably thought he was a better guy than he is.”
