These acting twins have a terrific pedigree; their mother was an actor’s and writer’s manager, and their father was a musician so they were both born into the business, and have enjoyed much success.
Marissa is an American actress who played in the films Dazed and Confused, True Crime, The Brady Bunch Movie, Pleasantville, and Don’s Plum and television several shows such as Felicity, Friends, Grace Under Fire, Watching Ellie, and Tales of the City.
In April 2004 Marissa married Beck Hansen, shortly prior to giving birth to their son, Cosimo Henri.
In 2007, the couple had their second child, a daughter, Tuesday. Marissa, her brother and husband are Scientologists. When asked about their spiritual life, Beck Hansen reports sincerely,”Scientology has helped me recently. And Marissa too. A lot of people think of it as a religion, and sometimes they have trouble getting their heads around something that doesn’t involve a deity. And I think if someone is making a judgment when they don’t really have firsthand experience, it’s intolerant, which to me is kind of insidious. ”
Their father, Albert Anthony Ribisi is a musician who used to the keyboard player in People! (a band whose cover version of “I Love You” reached 14th position on Billboard’s Hot 100, back in spring 1968) and their mother, Gay (née Landrum) is a manager of actors and writers.
They have another sister, Gina Ribisi, a voice actress. They are of Italian, German, and English descent.
Marissa, still married to her indie sweetheart Beck now owns a clothing line Whitley Cross.
