6. She’s Generous
Watson requested that her fans skip her birthday and Christmas presents and instead donate to UNICEF. In the past, she’s supported a wide number of charities, including Blue Peter’s Mission Nutrition, DIFFA/Dallas and Wild Trout Trust.
The lovable Hermione strongly supports UNICEF, so she appealed to her fans not to send her any birthday or Christmas present. Instead, she asked them to donate to UNICEF charity fund so that the other children of the world could have some Christmas joy, as well.
Along with the co-stars of Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, Emma appeared in a TV add to the UK-based charity foundation called Children in Need. They asked the people of good will to help children for the Christmas charity event in 2009.
Emma is also known for donating personal belongings or handmade items for auction for charities in the past. This includes Wild Trout Trust, Sense, DIFFA/Dallas, and Blue Peter’s Mission Nutrition.
Emma also became a creative adviser for PeopleTree, an eco-fashion brand that built factories for the clothing brand in the slums of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The idea was to help the community by providing jobs for the impoverished communities of this Asian country.
Along with Rupert Grint, Emma Watson has donated items of her own clothing to the organization called Sense, which is a charity for the deafblind. The charity has held an online auction to sell the clothes from the set on EBay.
Miss Watson also recently collaborated with artist Mark Demsteader to create beautiful paintings for charity. All of the paintings will help the African charity CAMFED that helps prevent and treat AIDS in Africa. The actress love how he painted her, got in touch and they made an exhibit in London. We don’t doubt that this would be a valuable contribution to the charity fund. If for some reason someone does not like her acting, one has to for all her charity.
