3. She’s an Athlete
In addition to spending time with her books, Watson is also known to friends and family as an athlete. She enjoys table-tennis, rounders and field hockey. In addition to this, she’s proficient in several styles of dance. Of course, this is not all. She’s a certified yoga teacher as well.
The star of Harry Potter was always conscious of her looks, as most beautiful stars of course, but she said that Los Angles, where she was staying at the time of the interview, makes her paranoid about the way she looks.
On August, 2011, she said “ L.A. scares the cr*p out of me. If I have to work out four hours a day, and count the calories of everything I put in my mouth, and have Botox at 22, and obsess about how I look the whole time, I will go mad. I will absolutely lose it.”
Emma loves to go for jogs, practices yoga, plays tennis, but also feels the pressure Hollywood’s need for perfection puts on a female star. Everyone has to look perfect, but that’s not so easy. Lucky for her, she’s a passionate athlete.
“I like to be active,” says the willowy 5’6″ British beauty. “I don’t always have time for that stuff, but I do always feel better afterward.”
Watson is aware of all the benefits of practicing yoga, and practiced it so well that she’s become a certified teacher. She’s licensed to teach both yoga and meditation, so the star could easily be called a yogi. She explained that her passion for the practice developed because she had such a nomadic lifestyle.
“I was like, ‘I need to find a way to always feel safe and at home within myself,'” she said. “Because I can never rely on a physical place.”
