What’s next for Watson?
While her GPA qualifies her for Cambridge University – which she’s said for years she hopes to attend – Watson hasn’t decided yet about whether to enroll right away.
“She’s just enjoying her results,” a rep for Watson tells PEOPLE. “She’s not making any decisions right now.”
Watson, one of Hollywood’s richest teens, earning a reported $4 million per Potter film, and $ 15 million in her last one, has been in party mode since taking her exams in June. She danced, drank and flirted at the glitzy Cartier Polo Tournament in Windsor in July and has been “living it up” for the past couple of weeks, says a source, adding, “She deserves it.”
Last year, the young star had a role in The Bling Ring where she appeared as Nicki. The movie focused on the true story of the Bling Ring robberies, where Watson plays Alexis Neiers – a TV star who was involved in them. She also had a supporting role in the movie This Is the End (2013), playing herself.
Darren Aronofsky’s movie, Noah, was just released last month, on March 2014.
In September 2013, there was the announcement that Watson would take a role in While We’re Young, whose plot focuses on a grandmother who would prefer to spend time with her granddaughter (Watson) than with her daughter.
The audience and the press applaud what she does. She was being awarded the Woman of the Year by GQ in 2013.
Miss Watson is currently filming a Spanish thriller movie called Regression, which is scheduled to come out in 2015. It is focused on a father accused of crime he has no memory of committing. She will play opposite of Ethan Hawke, and the movie will be directed by Alejandro Amenábar. Speaking of the Spanish language, she was considered to star in a movie by a famous Mexican director. Guillermo del Toro’s version of Beauty and the Beast has considered her for the role.
