13. Her Previous Boyfriend Was A Millionaire
Her previous boyfriend, William Adamowicz, is the son of millionaire with immense wealth and the couple broke up recently after a three-year relationship. They met as students at Oxford in 2011 at the peak of her Potter fame and the relationship is rumored to have ended because of her hectic schedule. The first one was wealthy, the second one is strong, we are rooting for the third to be a nerd.
Emma dated Will from December 2011 to summer 2013. Emma and William first appeared together in public at Coachella in April 12. After that she was seen a number of times expressing her love to her wealthy boyfriend.
Emma Watson met US-born Will, whose father is a millionaire, when both of them transferred from Brown University in Rhode Island, to study at Oxford in 2011.
In a talk show, Emma reveals the difference between the USA guys with the UK guys she dated,
“Usually in the whole courting situation [in England], I’m used to being first of all, ignored for the first two months of the ritual,” she said. “And then maybe they’ll acknowledge my presence. Then, they’ll probably be a little mean to me. And then, maybe we’ll, you know…whatever.”
Her American experience was quite different “Then I arrive in America,” she added. “And I remember a few nights into Brown [University], this guy just being like, ‘I like you. You’re great. Let’s go on a date. Let’s do it.’
“I’m like, ‘I’m sorry, what just happened?’ This is like a huge culture shock for me.
“They’re very like open and very straight-forward – but they wear flip-flops and I don’t know if I like that.”
Unfortunately for William, her heavy schedule took a toll on the couple’s relationship, so they had to break it off after a few years of dating.
