The couple met at Oxford, where she took a full year exchange from Brown, in October 2011. This soon-to-be Brown graduate took a break from the US and we’ll see how this relationship with the rugby star turns out.
His family said in one interview, “We are thrilled to bits that he is seeing Emma Watson… We are looking forward to meeting her soon.”
Janney, who is the star of Oxford’s rugby team, lost both his parents to cancer. Coralie and James Day are taking care of him as their son. They raised Janney and his sister after their mother died of breast cancer in 2008. Also, their father died of cancer when Janney was a toddler, so the poor kid is an orphan. If he’s lucky enough, he’ll have a new family with Miss Watson. Fingers crossed.
Coralie told the press, “After Matt’s mum died I became his second mother …. I took him up to Oxford when he started there. I am very proud of him.”
“Hats off to her for finding such a wonderful young man. There is nothing bad anyone could say about Matt. He is absolutely lovely.”
Before Watson appeared at last Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, she and her boyfriend Janney went on a Caribbean holiday. On Monday, March 17, the couple was seen on a holiday in Spain, as the 23-year-old actress joined her boyfriend Mathew Janney.
