10. Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitschko
Yes, it’s that girl from Heroes and yes, that is Wladimir Klitschko, Ukrainian boxer and champion.
The happy couple just got engaged, although they look so strange together. Not that we don’t believe in love, but we’re just worried about the technicalities of such a relationship. He’s 1.98 m (6 ft 6 in) tall compared to her 5 ft 2 in and it just seems like an impossible problem to solve.
But, we are glad that this is working out for both of them.
The former “cheerleader” made the announcement that she’s marrying the rough Ukrainian Olympic champion during a Wednesday appearance on “Live With Kelly & Michael.” The couple met at a book party in 2009, and have somehow been managing the long-distance relationship.
Things did not go as smooth for the beauty and the boxer, since they departed in 2009. However, they got back together last spring, when they announced the marriage. But, it was a secret engagement for a while, and it got into the public eye after her live appearance in a show.
Namely, Panettiere was wearing a boa constrictor as a scarf, but that did not distract the host, Kelly Ripa, from noticing the huge diamond ring on her finger. When she asked the young actress where who gave her the ring, she shyly replied that “It might mean something. I think it speaks for itself.”
Panettierre never denied that she might make amends with her relationship with the heavyweight boxing champ, and that they stayed good friends after their break up. Klitschko, also known as “Dr. Steelhammer,” is well ranked on Forbs most paid athletes list, and he receives millions in endorsements.
He is aware that it is difficult to maintain a relationship while living in two different continents. We hope they will tune their schedules and make it work this time around.
