However, it seems that things might be changing for Selena now, as she’s recently admitted that she feels the time of her departure could be drawing near.
Selena’s mother was just 16 when she gave birth to the singer. She raised Selena as a single parent after divorcing her father Carlos when Gomez was just five. The two moved from Texas to California so Selena could pursue her career as a child star, which paid off when she won her first role. And although she has her mother to thank for her early success, rumor has it that Selena’s recently fired both her mother and her stepfather as her managers. It looks like the Disney princess is really ready to grow up!
