Julia Roberts and her mother, Betty Lou, are the perfect example of this. They both had quite a tough year before they decided it was time to move back in together.
Julia’s half-sister, Nancy, committed suicide in 2014, and the scandal harnessed tons of media attention, much to the dismay of the Roberts family. Apart from that, it was reported that Betty Lou is battling a serious form of lung cancer. Mommy Betty has moved into Julia’s Malibu home, the one she shares with husband Danny and their three kids, and Betty never said no to doing her laundry – she even said she likes and wants to help her daughter with household chores.
