7. Tom Daley

This very handsome and athletic diver who won two gold medals for England at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, came out as gay relatively early in 2013.

He now hosts a celebrity diving show Splash! and his decision to come out did not affect his ratings or job.

If anything else, he is now even more popular than he was before. Especially because he’s into girls too, so both sexes can hope…
British Olympic diver shared a number of pictures from his Christmas celebrations on his Instagram profile around Christmas 2013, and there seemed to be the rainbow theme dominating his presents.

After coming out via a YouTube video, the athlete’s grandparents vocalized support for Daley but claimed they thought he may be “too young to be making this sort of decision.”

Now, Daley’s friends and family are confirming their support for his coming out through their holiday gift-giving, including this tongue-in-cheek rainbow apron that reads “gay icon.”

We guess he is, unfortunately, one of the lucky children to come out and be supported by many, as well as friends and family.

His grandparents may be right, though, he may be too young, but we also think the guy knows what he likes, who are we to stop him?

After his coming out, many celebs took their Twitter profiles to congratulate Daley on his courage.

First was, of course, gay icon, Kylie Minogue saying, “Inspiring and brave…..as always!!! #RespectTom.”

Stephen Fry was also among them. He tweeted a funny support, “I opened the second door on my advent calendar and Tom Daley came out. Seriously @TomDaley1994 congratulations. So happy for you.”
