This young British actor was very secretive when it came to his personal life, so no one was even suspecting that he was gay. Best known for his roles in the following movies: Skyfall, Cloud Atlas and Perfume: The Story of a Murderer he and his partner Australian composer Mark Bradshaw got hitched back in 2012.

His partner is an Australian composer Mark Bradshaw. The two entered into a civil partnership in Sydney in august, 2012.

The couple met on the set of their 2009 movie Bright Star where Ben starred in the flick while Mark wrote the film’s score.

A spokesman for Whishaw made the happy announcement about Ben and Mark, saying, “Ben has never hidden his sexuality, but like many actors he prefers not to discuss his family or life outside of his work.

Due to speculation, I can confirm that Ben and Mark entered into a civil partnership in August 2012. They were proud to do so and are very happy.”

When Ben was asked about young gay people and their need to have role models, he said, “I feel in my heart that it’s important, but I don’t quite know yet the way to go about that. Maybe that’s the transitional thing I feel I’m in the middle of at the moment.”

Whishaw is known to effortlessly move between stage film and television. He played aristocrat Sebastian Flyte in the remake of Brideshead Revisited, and starred in the BBC2 newsroom drama The Hour.

He’s also known as one of the most talented actors of today.
