10. Bob Harper
Bob Harper turned out to be The Biggest Winner when he came out in late November of 2013. He did that to show support to young people currently struggling with their sexuality. His parents have known this for years, but this very fit hunk stated that he was gay during one of the episodes of the The Biggest Loser.
He said, “I haven’t talked about my sexuality on this show ever,” Harper explained.
“And now, meeting Bobby, I really do believe this is the right time. I want to show Bobby that he doesn’t have to live in shame.”
He continued, “I’m gay. I knew I very long time ago that I was gay,” the Tennessee native explained.
“When I came out — when I was 17 years old — it was one of those things where I realized that there was going to be so many obstacles, but being gay doesn’t mean being weak. And being gay doesn’t mean that you are less than anybody else. It’s just who you are.”
After his announcement was launched, he received many praises from his fans and fellow colleagues. So he took to Twitter to thank everybody for supporting him and his bravery to share the news with the world.
He said, “THANK YOU to everyone that supported my decision to talk about being gay w/ Bobby,” he tweeted. “I felt like it was appropriate & necessary. LOVE Y’ALL!!”
He continues to be an inspiration to young people in the closet all around the world with his brave actions.
