4. The Rolling Stones
Yet another of Britain’s biggest exports, The Rolling Stones were initially popular in Britain and Europe, before breaking out onto American soil during the early 60’s with their “British Invasion”. In 1989 The Rolling Stones earned their place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and by 2004 they polled in at number 4 in Rolling Stone magazine’s 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
