22. Robbie Coltrane
Robbie Coltrane is one hell of an actor and it is almost a shame that most people in the US know him only as Hagrid from Harry Potter movies. He’s actually been in movies since the late 1970s and early 1980s and he is a fantastically versatile actor.
However, you would never call him handsome, quite the opposite in fact. He’s always had the look of a local butcher, a nice guy who spends most of his time in a wife-beater, not beating his wife though. You probably noticed that we described him as a nice guy and it is because he really looks like that – a genuinely nice guy. Not handsome, but nice.
This ‘niceness’ is probably what got him the role of Hagrid in the first place. That, and his enormous talent, of course.
