Millions of men around the world would gladly give a couple of fingers or even an arm or two to be Hugh Hefner for just one day, and there’s nothing odd about that. Not only is he the founder of Playboy Enterprises, but also a World War II veteran, a self-made millionaire with a net worth of over $43 million, a former journalist for Esquire, a political activist, and a philanthropist.
So, what’s the catch here? No, we didn’t put him on this list to show how impressive he is, you probably know that by now. Hugh Hefner actually happens to be the cousin of two people you have surely heard of – George W. Bush, and John Kerry. He is their ninth cousin, twice removed from Bush, once from Kerry. Bush is also Kerry’s ninth cousin, twice removed, which makes for a nice coincidence. Imagine that family gathering.
