3. Elton John
Everyone’s favorite gay musician began his relationship with David Furnish, a former advertising executive, and current filmmaker, in 1993. They were fortunate enough to be among the first couples in the UK to form a civil partnership, held at the Windsor Guildhall on December 21, 2005. When gay marriage became legal in England in March 2014, John and Furnish wasted no time, marrying in Windsor, Berkshire, on December 21, 2014, marking the ninth anniversary of their civil partnership.
They even went a step further in achieving happiness by fathering two sons. The older one, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, was born to a surrogate mother in 2010 in California, and their younger son, Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John, was born to that same mother in 2013. Successful, madly in love and with two children, these two really found happiness in each other.
